Boron Doped Nanodiamond

We provide lightly boron doped nanodiamond (~500 ppm of B) as 50nm and 150 nm suspensions in DI water. The product is used for seeding of boron-doped CVD diamond films and in electrochemistry.

A new product, highly boron doped (2wt.% of B) micron-sized diamond particles powder, is available for purchase. Particles are synthesized by bottom-up high-pressure high temperature (HPHT) synthesis. The product is used in electrochemistry.

X-Ray Analysis:

  • Based on XRD, amount of graphitic phase <3wt%; BC4 is not detected.

  • Lattice parameter is 3.575 Å.

  • Concentration of B ~2 wt %.

Highly Boron-Doped Diamond Powder

Scanning Electron Microscopy:

Based on scanning electron microscopy particle sizes are within micron range with largest particles up to 10 micron. Based on dynamics light scattering measured in Malvern Zetasizer, a fraction of particles with average size 500 nm also presents.

Raman Spectroscopy:

Raman spectra of particles confirms high level of doping with B.
